ui.item properties

Hello,
I am looking hard through the docs to find this info - can anybody
please point me to the location of the object reference or similar so
I can see the properties of this object? Or even of the ui object?
Alternatively, if I'm barking up incorrect vegetation can anybody
point me somewhere?
