UI Slider - disable middle-button click on mouse

Hi, is it possible to disable the middle-button/wheel-scroll click on the movable icon on the slider? By default, it opens a new tab/window when I click on it.

With left-button click, it allows me to drag the slider. I'd either like to replicate this behaviour on middle-click, or disable middle-click if possible?
