UI tab states.

Hello, Im new to the boards and I am in dire need of some help. I think I am just overlooking something small, but let me explain the situation.

Firstly, here is the url of the project: http://www.itsintrigue.com/ekb/

I have setup a few tabs that don't point to any actual tab content divs but instead refer to external links, the links work fine as far as opening in a new window. My problem is that the ui display state on the tabs appear to be in a disabled/non active state. I have used all of jqueries UI selectors I have been able to find. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
