ui.tabs and "left: -9999px; position: absolute;"

ui.tabs and "left: -9999px; position: absolute;"


Hi community,
I am using jquery 1.2.6 and ui.tabs. Due to a problem with
"display:none;" from another javascript (namely "reflection.js", I am
forced to use "left: -9999px; position: absolute;" for "ui-tabs-hide".
Doing so, the fx-transitions, especially fading, do not work
correctly. How can this be fixed or worked-around? Reproducable in IE
6 with SP 2 and Firefox 3.0.
