[Validate] Placing error message in already created <div>
Hi, I just started using jQuery Validate, and am not very familiar with jQuery at all (it's on my todo list). Either way, I picked up the validate form and like it, aside from the fact that I HATE that it imposes a label onto you.
In my case, where it says "Enter your name", for example, I'd like that to get replaced with "Required field" when someone doesn't input it. I've dug through the code but between a language I don't know (using lots of methods I don't know of), and other people's code, I just can't wrap my brain around where to edit so that the error message is appended (well, deletes that div then appends the message) to a specific div instead of creating a brandy-new label.
