Want to work with jQuery UI on website, using at this time old jquery tools

iam using jquery tools on and old website of an customer. I want to use jquery ui, cause its better.

Iam using the old jquery tools for the menu effects and the hover effects and for the audio/video player.

Is there an tutorial how to upgrade or take the replacement? Thanks
