Which framework would be best for a publishing project?
I have a project I have spent a month or so developing with Sencha, but now the fact most users will be using Internet Explorer and PC non-touch systems has been presented to me.
The project doesn't rely on the typical UI that most of the touch systems have. It is a Publishing Engine, which will hopefully allow the creation of magazines, catalogues, brochures and other publications that are usually printed. It is intended to be completely open source so additions can be created as needed. I have reached an impasse for how galleries are to be set up for this project.

I am researching mootools-mobile as well, but would value any information or access to code to work with. Can jquery mobile help with this kind of project? Would anyone consider it worth the wait before the jquery.mobile alphe/beta is available? (both Sencha and Mootools-mobile are here today, and we are hoping to have the first 'edition' for the school available for download at the end of September)
