why cannot I use the Jquery plugins at the same time?

why cannot I use the Jquery plugins at the same time?

I want to use JQuery displaying my pictures---nine pictures per page,and clicking to enlarge.So I download two plugins.However,I cannot use the JQuery plugins at the same time.That meas there's a plugin which cannot be used,and the other cannot be used well.Anyone knows why?
