why jquery 1.2.1 is so clean ?

Hi,
I just looking for documentation about some functions but i couldnt
have it in jquery 1.2.1 (usually i look at the source and i found
some examples, the last one that have it in 1..1.3 )
why the jquery 1.2. look so clean ... with no clear documentation and
examples in the source (although it mentions that it include
documentation)
