I'm working with jquerymobile and I'm used to have tools like lesscss to edit the source code and build my own theme.

For sure I'm using the provided theme roller but first I don't have the choice and then it becomes hard when you want to update your theme version (the import doesn't work well).

I have found the project  https://github.com/srsgores/jquery-mobile-less but it's not up to date and I don't understand all the way it's done.

So my question is why the jqm team doesn't use a framework for the css ?
