wp7 ie9 page rendering

wp7 ie9 page rendering

Hi,

I have a standard page consisting of a header, footer and content. When displaying the page on a wp7 simulator everything works fine. When displaying the page om a real wp7 (one of the first ones, it utilizes ie9), first the header and footer are displayed, then the content, and finally the content gets repositioned, in total producing a highly unwanted flickering experience. I know that ie9 does not support position:fixed for the header and footer, but is there any way around this ??? Ihave been able to prevent the problem on the first page of the application using .holdReady(), but this does not seem to work for subsequent pages when they are loaded.

PS... tablet, desktop, ad any other brand of mobile device which is current work fine ...
