Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but I know you are a clever bunch so hear goes...

I have downloaded an xml document to the browser and I would like to add an element to one of it's elements and I have no idea how to do it. I'm sure it must be straight forward ;-)

Every search I do on the web (for example "add element to xml document loaded into browser") goes on about adding dom elements.
