[superfish] how to close an open menu?
Hi! I'm using superfish to open a menu and load parts of the page by ajax. When I click on the link the menu stays up. How can I get rid off of the menu? Need an example? The following page is by the author of superfish so I guess it is not a bug but intended.... Problem with creating my first plugin
I created my first plugin last week that is a simple image rotator with a nice fade effect. When the plugin is used on a site that only has one result in the wrapper set, it works perfectly. If there is more than one result however, the plugin fails because my key variables are being shared between all instances of the plugin. ClueTip: mouseleave will not always fire on rapid mouse movement
Hello, I am witnessing some weird behavior while using ClueTip 1.0.4 on JQuery 1.3.2. The original problem was that the tooltip sometimes would not close. This will happen occasionally if the mouse if moved rather fast. On slow movement, everything works fine. The code uses an event named 'mouseleave.cluetip' the mouseleave event for detecting when it has to close. I have no idea what the .cluetip parts does, and this event is not triggered anywhere I'd have notived, but hey, it works. For debugging,

blockUI produces unpredictable effects
I am developing a data driven website, since some data requests could take a long time so I use blockUI to alert users. blockUI sometimes produces unpredictable results like the followings: (1) The browser screen turns entirely black, the block message may or may not display. (2) The overlay does not show up (this could be a result of opacity becomes 100%). The block message does display. Bassistance Tooltip not showing on IE 8
Hi, I'm having this issue hope someone can help me, I'm using the bassistance tooltip plugin to show tooltips on a table whenever the user moves the mouse over images in the table, it works perfectly on IE 6, IE 7, FF, Opera, Safari etc, but when I try it on IE 8 the tooltips don't show, can anybody give an idea of what's going on? I have a blockUI dialog come up pointing to id 'abc'. Within that div, there is a link that I would like to replace the entire contents of the popped up window with a new div id. is that possible? or do i have to unblock and then block again?
[Validate] [Masked Input] mask is wrongly fulfilling "required"
I'm using jQuery 1.3, the masked input plugin and the Validate plugin. I have a required field that has a mask provided to it. When the form fails to submit (because the required field wasn't entered), it enters active validation, where each field is validated immediately. This is awesome. When the (empty) required field is focused, the mask is displayed. When the (still otherwise empty) required field loses focus, the mask "counts" for the required and the validation passes. Since I have upgraded to jQuery 1.4+ I am having problems getting $_POST variables sent while trying to upload a file using the form plugin. superfish RTL support
Hi , im using superfish menu module v 1.2 on Joomla 1.5 with Joomfish - using the Horizontal menu on the Hebrew RTL template of a website: http://d338176.u116.wishosting.net/index.php?lang=he i cant get the LI widths to stay narrow, therefor they are are very wide and cause the menu to split into two lines. the only solution i have is to limit the width of the menu to 100px; like so: .sf-menu li { float: right; position: relative; max-width:150px; } i also tried enabling

Enabling 'Eager' Validation on Validation plugin
I am aware that the jQuery validation plugin implements lazy validation. However, I have a requirement to implement "eager" validation on one of my forms. I.e. As soon as the user tabs through the fields on the form, even for the first time, any validation errors must be highlighted. I have been able to implement this for text input fields but can't seem to do it for radio buttons. So when the user tabs through my form without entering any data or selecting any options, errors are immediately highlighted
Formating the date picker date

Autocomplete Plugin not working right
Hey all, I am using the JQuery Autocomplete Plugin for the city name field. The state is chosen using a SELECT html tag before the user types in the city name. Autocomplete feature works fine initially. But when I change the state from stateA to stateB, I am able to type in cities from both the states, instead of just stateB. Please advise. Thank you! Superfish not working in ie6 with pngfix and swapimage plugins
Hello all, I've used this plugin many times with minimal issues, but have come to nearly a stand still with it on this project. I have a drop down using png images for the main button as well as the drop down links all with a rollover swapping the image on the hover state. All modern browsers work with out fault but ie6 doesn't show the drop down or hover state at all. I have the swapimage and pngfix plugins installed, I also tried the canvasSwap plugin. Has anyone come across a fix for this issue?

ClueTip "custom-width" cross-browser issue

It renders wonderfully in Chrome 4.0.249.43 and Firefox 3.5.7, but under Safari 4 (528.7), Opera 10.10 and IE 8.0.6001.18702 it suffers from a height issue. tablesorter addParser sorts in only one direction
Hi, I'm using jquery.js version 1.4 and the current version of jquery.tablesorter.js. I added a parser following the example at http://tablesorter.com/docs/example-parsers.html. When the custom parser is not present, clicking on any of the headers will sort the table in both directions: up and down. When the custom parser is present, clicking on any of the headers will sort the table in only one direction: up. I can't figure out why and would appreciate any suggestions.
