I m using jquery with loading dynamic content from text file, when i change the text file the images dont get changed till I open new browser window. The image urls are coming from database and im writing them to text file and everytime the page refereshes the image urls data gets changed , so i want to reflect the same in my div where im loading images using jquery dynamically, Please help me with this query Thanks

Hi Everyone, I have a pretty weird issue that I am unable to solve myself. I am using jQuery and ColdFusion. The issue is that for some unknown reason, that when I submit a form, the form variable that has been jquerified is not submitted - it is not part of the form scope. I have created a small test coldfusion form/page and can successfully jquery "touched" fileds without error. So I am confident it is not a coldfusion form / JS issue. [jQuery] Feedback for a proposal to switch from prototype to jQuery
Hi all, So we all obviously know why jQuery is better than prototype, otherwise we wouldn't be here. I use jQuery for all of my personal projects, but unfortunately I'm stuck with prototype in my day job. We do have a rather complex piece of software, and I'd have to go through a lot of code in order to see how long it would take to switch to jQuery, but I'm sure it's feasible. What I'm hoping for, is some feedback from you folks on the best way to start a proposal for why we should switch to jQuery.

[jQuery] problem with nested ajax calls
Hi; I am trying to nest an ajax call as part of the success callback to an ajax call. Specifically, after a successful log in, I'd like to populate some data. I'm stepping into a lot of new ground, for me, so it's hard to figure out why something isn't working. The login works fine. And the first callback is run, using Firebug, I can tell that the 2nd ajax call is returning the data I expect. But the success callback for the 2nd ajax use isn't firing. I'm using the Treeview library from http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-treeview/, with jQuery 1.1.4. All is going well except for one tiny point. We're using the tree to list navigation structure. When choosing a page, we need to load the selected page and have the corresponding tree node display (expanded), and have that node indicated as the current element. I'm working on a unidirectional carousel that makes ajax calls to load more elements to be displayed. I'm working on an Accordion -- and I've got everything running smoothly in Firefox, but for the life of me I cannot get this example to function using IE: http://www.learningjquery.com/2007/03/accordion-madness It functions just fine on their site in IE7, but when I imported the data (perhaps I missed something? Howdy, I'm using jQuery 1.2.1 (I love it... the selectors are most awesome and it has a very "functional" flavor) I've got a situation that I've seen on Firefox 2.0 (it may be an issue on other browsers.) It seems that I can only have 2 pending HTTP requests from the browser to the same server at a given time. I've been adding Comet support to lift (http://liftweb.net) and it's pretty cool. lift opens an HTTP GET request to the server with a list of components on the page and last modified times.

Anyone else experiencing this problem? I'm using fedora core 6 latest firefox 2.0.0.2.
