im attemping to serialize a list i have going, I want to grab the id it sends back. The issue is that sortserialize.hash is returned as divArray[]=values; I want to grab the values on the right side and store them somewhere, I was trying to replace everything left of the = but, i cant escape [] Eventually I will make it dynamic and for looop through the arry and sort by commas as well, but Why is this not working. The new continues hot and heavy this morning. Developer extraordinaire Remy Sharp, posted on the list about a fun app he developed call Speech Bubbles. Using bookmarklets, it would allow you to attach speech bubbles to specific parts of web pages. It was REALLY cool and Remy got a lot of kudos from the jQuery community. [jQuery] Interface Transfer callback function being called twice
Hi all, I'm using the interface library transfer, and I assigned a callback function which reloaded a section of the page whenever the transfer completed: $("#element").TransferTo({ options..... complete: completeFunction() }); However, I discovered the callback function was being executed TWICE, so for now I've had to ditch the functionality while I work on a way round it. [jQuery] Interface Autocomplete autofill
Hi all, I've got a text box which is hooked in to an Interface autocomplete. As you type it searches for client names in our database and returns the client name and client ID in the XML. The client ID is passed to a hidden form field when an option is selected from the displayed list but this does NOT appear to be happening if the autofill fills in the box. So to sum up, I need the autocomplete to populate the client ID when it autofills the search box with the most appropriate option. Is this possible?

Hello, I'd need to have a (circular) carousel with fixed height but variable with items. I tried looking into the pos(i) function, but it seems to assume equal and fixed widths for all items, so before hurting myself I though about asking if somebody had some hint. The only thing I could think by myself is attaching to onBeforeAnimation and change the "current" width to that of the next item, but this seems pretty hacky (and I still don't know it if works, I'm trying it now). thank you, michele

I'm attempting a very simple use of jqmodal -- basically the first example on the plugin page. Works fine in FF but in IE the overlay appears opaque. Anything obvious I should look for? So far, my googling suggests z-index issues if the jqmWindow isn't a direct child of body, but I don't think this would affect opacity of the overlay ... positioning / z-index of the window is fine. [jQuery] Swaping div contents from one box to another.
I am trying to use jQuery and jq_gmaps.js. What I need to do is have people click an item in a list, and then have the google map , slide down under it and show the location. (ultimately when they click on another entry, the map will slide back up and then down on the new one they clicked) I am using 1 google map box, instead of 1 for each item. But I am having problems trying to "move" the contents of the Div that has the map in it to another location. It just locks up. I tried cloning and emptying

I have a page where, on the left side, I have a Google map with markers that the user can click on to display a form on the right-hand side of the page, via AJAX. This form on the right-hand side contains an FCKeditor object instantiated with the jQuery FCKeditor plugin. This form is submitted using the jQuery form plugin. The first time I click a marker on the Google map and submit the form on the right-hand side, it works without problem. I can change the form values and hit submit as many times

I've updated my Field Plug-in: http://jquery.com/plugins/project/field I've fixed an issue with the $.formHash() method and added the following: $("input:checkbox").limitSelection(3, errorCallback, successCallback); Limits the user from being able to select more than 3 items in a checkbox/select element. If 3 items or less are selected, the successCallback is executed. If more than 3 items is selected, the errorCallback is executed. The limitSelection() was inspired by a recent post on this board.

Hi All, Does anyone know of a Google Maps like interface implemented using JQuery? The only real requirement is that a user can "zoom in/out". On zoom, a new image is properly loaded in terms of zoom and user expected location.
