[jQuery] Do the jQuery plugins & UI apps are licensed under the MIT license too?
Hi! I understand that it's possible to use jQuery under the MIT license. Do the jQuery UI apps & jQuery plugins are licensed under the MIT license too? Or that there are some apps that have different license which is specify in the application's page? I just want to make sure if I can use your jQuery product and it's derivatives (plugins & UI apps) under the MIT license only. ( Sorry for my bad writing style, I'm not an English speaker. I'm using the jquery.validate plugin to validate an email address in a login form and I have seen a weird bug which I was wondering whether anyone else has seen / fixed? I entered a invalid email and the validation error message was show as normal however, I could delete the error message and also the email text box! Preloader for a website?
Is there a way to use jQuery to have a preloader for a website? I found this website and it uses mootools to do the preloader (I think..) I'm just starting out jQuery, so I don't know how to start.. I was thinking about have a div on with a z-index of like 99999 (to make it on top of everything) with the loader image, then once everything loads up, have the div fade out.. Thanks..

jerky/slow animations in IE
i've built a fairly simple website with modal window. when it fadeIn, its very slow..only in IE (6 an 7). you can experience it in here http://www.v-catalog.com/yair/hamismacia/ its in Herbew, BUT you can just click on a link near the numbering (big list). why is it so damn slow? i've written the exact same on my other websites and it runs fast even ion Ie6 :/

How to add more than 1 plugin in the same page
I have created a slideshow plugin using JQuery for the soholaunch CMS. It is a plugin where the images of the image folder are viewed as a slideshow without the page being reloaded. It seems to work fine when I add the plugin to the site once. But when more than 1 of the same plugin is added to the page it doesnt work properly. What I want to know however is, is it possible to invoke a created headline for the image as well as the image's alt? Flash of content before slideDown
Hi folks, I've built the simplest test case to show a problem I'm having with JQuery 1.3.2. I have a bunch of Divs with class ".popup". Each div is different in what it contains; some are simple, some are pretty complex, containing tables, other divs, etc..
