BlockUI and textarea scolling

Hi,

Using the BlockUI plugin to block sections of a page using divs, so far so good.

But there are a couple of textareas which can have a lot of text, and these are no longer scrollable.

Before I spend too much time on this, is it at all possible to use BlockUI and still allow textareas to be scrolled, but not allow the text to be changed?

try $('textarea').prop('readonly',true)

Hi charlietfl,

Yes I understand (and do) set some things to readyonly, but the problem is that I'm using BlockUI to block out a whole section of a page, and any textareas within that can no longer be scrolled.

I think I'm going have to re-think how I've done things, and try again.
