Changing orientation from landscape to portrait adjusts layout to the left on Iphone

When viewing the page in landscape mode and then tilting the iPhone 4 IOS 5 to portrait mode, the layout is adjusted to the left: The page is cut off by about 20 pixels on the left and there is a white margin of equal size to the right of the page. Any suggestions on how to correct this?
