datepicker and tabs

Hi,
The first thing i need is how to increase number of years in datepicker dropdown

the second is a problem i am using Jquery UI Tabs which starts perfectly and load eveything but there is a problem which make these tabs useless for me and the problem is the first tab is selected on page load but i am not able to switch to other tabs i am using firefox and its really tired me now i am thinking to quit and create my own tabs in javascript it will be much easier, i am using the button and datepicker both are working perfectly but tabs and formvalidation is not working, please if someone can help me i am using exactly the code pasted on jquery site

The Jquery UI Tabs work great. Sounds like you don't have something configured correctly. Can you give a snippet of your content where you are defining the tab and initializing it?

To set the range of years shown in the datepicker use the yearRange option. Its value consists of two parts separated by a colon (:). Each part can be either an offset from today's year (-nn:+nn), an offset from the currently selected year (c-nn:c+nn), an absolute year (nnnn:nnnn), or a combination of these (nnnn:-nn). For example, the following specifies years from 1960 to 18 years ago:

$(selector).datepicker({yearRange: '1960:-18'});

Note, however, that this option only affects the drop-down list. To restrict selectable dates to a particular range you must use the minDate and/or maxDate options.

Really thanks for your answer on datepicker issue is there any way so that the current date is dynamic as after one year the current date will not be available for me to chose it, i am using it with Ruby on Rail

i have been stuck with the tabs which are not working and i really like these tabs which i want to use but how when its not working please help me for this.

What range of years do you want to show in your datepicker? A yearRange of 'c-20:c+20' will show 20 years before and after the currently selected year, subject to any minDate/maxDate restrictions.
