datepicker bug 1.8.17 and 1.7.3

If I try to programatically set the minDate and maxDate values for two datepicker widgets so that they mutually constrain each other, they start to flicker, not show, or stay open and start to block the browser.

I'm using Chrome 16.0.912.77 on Ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot (11.10).

I have seen the problem on Windows too.

I'm making an event creation dialog for an event calendar connected to google calendar, and this gets a little annoying... It's blocking the event creation.
