Using 1.4.2 and ui 1.8.

I have an text box datepicker. I want it to display above the text box, and cannot figure out how. I read the docs, searched this forum, read some of the code... This should be easy.

In Chrome it appears above. On IE and Firefox it appears below.

Any help appreciated. TIA

The datepicker positions itself automatically - below its field and aligned left (for left-to-right languages) or right (for right-to-left languages). If there is insufficient room there it repositions itself above/opposite side, while still keeping the popup visible in the window. At present you cannot control further where the datepicker appears. A future version will use the position plugin to give you more control.

The datepicker positioning seems to be above the element in Firefox, and below in IE.
This seems inconsistent.
Am I missing something?

any idea when this will be completed? i need to reposition the datepicker and if the update is soon, then i won't bother modifying the code.

A tough question. I am encountering a similar question on the alignment of datetime picker , but only surfed something about the date picker properties.
