Just looking for more sets of eyes on an issue I'm having.

Setup
Our site is setup with a navigation pane on the left which slides out to the right for sub-pages when hovering. In the content pane there is a jQuery UI Accordion.

Issue
In IE the navigation slide-out does not go over the accordion in the content pane. However, it _does_ go over the rest of the content. It works fine in FF though.

Tried
I have set the z-index of the navigation to 4 and the accordion to 3. There is also global navigation drop-downs which are 5. I have verified this with the Web Developer toolbar in IE and FF.

I believe this started when I switched the layout to absolute positions for the left and right panes. This was changed because of an issue when they were floated instead (table widths/overflow in IE).
