Does UI work in conjunction with cycle2?

Trying out UI datepicker, but I am not getting very far. I use DW CS5.5 to put the pages together. I have cycle2 linked in and I am trying to get UI datepaicker working.
The <head> area includes:

- <link rel="stylesheet" href="../jquery/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css">
- <script type="text/javascript" src="../jquery/jquery-1.11.0.min.js"></script>
- <script type="text/javascript" src="../jquery/jquery.cycle2.min.js"></script>
- <script type="text/javascript" src="../jquery/jquery-ui.js"></script>
- <script src="../jquery/jquery.cycle2.caption.min.js"></script>
- <script src="../jquery/ui/ui.datepicker.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
- <script>
- $(function() {
- $( "#datepicker" ).datepicker();
- });
- </script>
A sidebar div in the body includes:
- <p class="KeyDetailHeader">What's On<br>
- Date: <input type="text" id="datepicker"> </p>
No popup. Is what I am trying to do feasible?
