Draggable Grid Positions

Is there a way to reset the grid positions for example:

I have two draggable elements outside of the area I want to drop them into, however when dragged these elements are not on the same grid. Is there a method of doing this.

Getting rid of the margin and display properties seems to fix the grid issue.

Perhaps not the best demo, However the idea is, you can click on the elements out side of the area, once you click on these elements a clone is created that will be dropped inside the area.
