The min handler will be set to 1 and max to 100. If the user chooses  200 - 500. The slider will set the min handler to 200 and max handler to 500.

How can the user choose 200-500 if the max is 100? I'm probably misunderstanding the goal, however.

Your just missing the objective. Let me make it simple. For example if the user selects option 1 which is 100 to 200. The minimum handle which is on the left will be set to 100 and maximum handle on right will be set to 200. If the user selects option 2 which is 200 to 500 the minimum and maximum handles on the slider will be set 200 - 500.

For the that is the objective i want to achieve.

Sorry, still having trouble understanding the objective. Here is what I've grasped so far. You have option 1, which is a slider. The minimum value of this slider is 100, while the maximum value is 200. When the user drags the handle to 200, you want something to happen. Do I have this right so far? I'm confused when you start talking about the 200-500 range, is this in another slider?
