error in CORE jQuery: a is undefined....

get error: a is undefined, in connection with jquery-ui (ah yes, my favorite..... ;-)

trying to get a slider working... why am I getting this error in jQuery core...

using jQuery 1.8.2 with whatever jquery-ui is latest download...

(can't post example, as don't have FTP access at work..)

If you are getting an error from the core it is likely because you have made a mistake in your jQuery code.

oh brother..

ok, will see if I can post from home tonight.........

although: have no custom JS code in there yet at all.. just running core jQ and jQ-ui...

it's for a slider... sliders don't show........

It could be a number of things, such as wrong versions of jquery, including plugins out of order, incompatible versions of jquery and jqueryui, not including the slider in jquery ui, etc. We'd have to see how you are including the scripts and initializing the sliders.
