Hey Chris,
I've starred your project at GitHub for the excellent structure of your repository, though I cannot seem to quickly grasp the exact workings of your plugin.
(feel free to star mine, if you like it:
https://github.com/arvgta/historyI've obviously taken a different approach to documentation and live example of the plugin on a dedicated website)
You've started documenting on GitHub itself, inside the README.md. Nice graphic, you're obviously the visual type :-)
Keep your audience in mind. They'll be most interested in the jQuery interface and use-cases and for all I can say, will at first not care about the "nitty-gritty" inside (the code) - as long as it functions properly.
Well done! You've set up the plugin alright at:
http://plugins.jquery.com/pixelselect/.Time for the stars, watches and forks to start rolling in!
I'm sorry I can't say much about the code. According to my experience - it's self-responsibility that it works and people in a hurry don't have the time to get in too deep.
Also, you might want to consider providing a minified version of the code.
Cheers, Arvind.
