Fixed header/footer on Android

Hello,
Fixed header / footer is buggy on pretty much all Android devices I tested.
The problem is that when scrolling, either:
- the fixed header/footer doesn't disappear as it should and stays where it was last and move along with the scroll. When the scrolling stops, both scrollbars disappear and fade in at the right spot.
- the fixed header/footer disappear but make some apparitions when we scroll (flickering). When the scrolling stops, both scrollbars disappear and fade in at the right spot.
So basically when we scroll the header/footer is hiding the content of the page or flickers in the middle.
Is that a known issue. Is a fix planned for this?
I think Android 2.2+ supports position:fixed, which should solves the problem.
