Folder access using javascript

Hello,

Here is my question:-

I have a "Plan" folder having "Index.html" page.
On Index.html page, I want to display images from "images" folder in same directory automatically by reading the filename from images folder without specifying the folder pathname in img tag.
I am not able to access images folder.

Is it possible in jquery or javascript???

Only if the images folder does not have an index.html and the server shows the file names. Otherwise you would need a server language program to read the directory and return the file names of the images it found.
