My little proof of concept with one button containing a Hebrew word is here:
http://hebrewresources.com/html5problems/buttonText.html I'm interesting in re-writing my Hebrew tutorial in jQuery mobile.
I was going to use a button, because it would be intuitive to click on the button and hear the word.
But, beginners need to see nice large fonts, especially when learning the vowel dots (niqud), which at normal font size are often indistinguishable for beginners.
I looked at the theme-roller, but didn't see any font-size options there.
Within Firefox browser on my Android, the vowel dots (niqud) are not aligned properly.
In my example, there are three letters, and the two on the right should each have a Kamatz under them (the little T shaped vowel). This problem happens on normal HTML pages as well. But does anybody know how to deal with it? Or is there particular Android/iPhone browsers that supports Hebrew better than others?
Thanks,
Neal Walters
