Link doesn't work, it lands on an "oops, that page can't be
found".
This seems to be the right URL:
This is from September, 2013 (and the post here a few months
after that). Is there some update as to how this has all worked-out.
The article actually mentions patched 2.0.3, not 2.0.2 (maybe
that is an update). Has that made it upstream into jQuery, or was
that just an experiment?
Has current jQuery 2.1.3/1.11.2 now done something similar?
So, perhaps this fixes the issue for jQuery. What about all the
other libraries and scripts developers have written?
If Microsoft "breaks the Internet", do they then
expect everybody else to mop-up and fix it?
It seems better just to recommend installing a different browser.
Back to the future... Remember when many sites had disclaimers about
what browser was preferred? IE had it's day in the sun where most
of those disclaimers recommended IE....
