good size for the main images

Hello everyone,

I'm new on this forum and I already have a question about the methods given by html5 and jquery for the "Responsive Images".
In particular I would like to obtain this effect http://m.disneyworld.disney.go.com/ that is there's a main-image that holds all the display and resizes itself when users rotate this last.

I tryed through different CSS style but I'm not so well with this....

Are you sure you want that "effect"?

That Disney page is a total fail on Firefox. Blank white page.

Edit: I see it is a mobile-only page, so I guess Firefox fail is excusable.

Anyway, all they did was set the element width to 100%, so that it scales with the page. (In a supported desktop browser - which Firefox isn't for that site - the image will scale to any width.)

It's useful to learn to use Web Inspector or Firebug. They allow you to explore a site's CSS quite easily.

Hi,

I would like to have a main img that fills the first line of the page.
But do you really think that the solution is just setting the width to 100%... it dosn't work in my project...

....

If it really isn't, you need to clarify a bit better. EDIT: Is it because of the space between the header/image? If so use inspector... you can see they shifted the image up 15 pixels.
