How do i add menu(dropdown/pullup) ?

Hi,

If I a starter, want to have menus(dropdown/pullup) in a (Nav-bar footer/header) how do I do it?

As far as i tried it seems that most docs suggest a direct landing url.

Pls. guide me with a code outline.

Look at the select menu in the docs.

Hi ,

thanks jimboidaho,

I had tried that but it is not so appealing for this requirement, select-code seems to be heavyweight.

a) I wish for simple options as my example, it should be inline but i dont know how to do with select.

b) For complex options, pull/drop menus may have other input types as well like checkbox, radios, text etc, which for me seems like a "mini-form/page" should be sitting there, should I go for a data-role=dialog or pop

which way to go pls advise.

i wouldn't put too much content and too many options on a main page for usability reasons. if you have a set of options, you can create a regular options page. it's much clearer for your users and for you, as a programmer.
