There is highlight/error styled div block in the theme but how can I use them?

is there something like $("div").highlight(); ?

I would like to use those style to show my feedback to client.

Just add the class.

This will add the class to the div but without the preceding exclamation mark. but thanks for your answer.

hi..

I'd the same problem..I create a function like this:

$.fn.errorStyle = function() {
var oldErrore = this.html();
var StyledError = "<div class=\"ui-state-error ui-corner-all\" style=\"padding: 0 .7em;\">";
StyledError += "<p><span class=\"ui-icon ui-icon-alert\" style=\"float: left; margin-right: .3em;\">";
StyledError += "</span><strong>Alert:</strong>";
StyledError += oldErrore ;
StyledError += "</p></div>";
this.replaceWith(StyledError );
}
})(jQuery);
$(document).ready(function() {
$(".error").errorStyle ();
});
</script>

and now the errors are styled automatically!

I use that code with multiple error messages, but it return the same text for all div...

I modify it like that :

And now it's ok !
