How to remove white screen between transitions in jQuery Mobile 1.3.0?

Unfortunately,

I have an issue that many people had before but that seems not to be fixed. I recently downloaded jQuery Mobile 1.3.0 and I am building an iphone app using phonegap. When I test my application there is a white screen that appears between each page.

How do I remove it?

Hi jsmith789,

I think I´ve got the same problem as you. Using jQuery Mobile 1.2.0 and up destroys my swipe-navigation between different pages. The transition "slide" doesn´t word properly anymore on my device (Galaxy S2 with Android 2.3.6). On Devices with a newer Android-version however (or even in Firefox 19 on my desktop) it seems to work.
Is there any possibility to get the transition work on any Android/iOS-Device without having to use an older Version of jQuery mobile?
