How to sava an image to a folder using jQuery?

I am working in a project using technologies asp.net with c# and JQuery. To provide a default image in a control whenever the page gets loaded at first time, I need to save the selected image into a folder without dialog. Please assist me with jquery coding. Perfect answers would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks

It isn't possible to save a file to the client's machine without a prompt. That would be a huge security hole.
