And may be another question is, does anyone know of a better page transition code/plugin?
My point exactly. I want to continue using it as a UI framework, but want to use my own transitions, without breaking JQM's notion of active page, etc. I am not using JQM's ajax page loading, not using its routing. I am using backbone to manage those aspects. In the same venue I want JQM only to paint some UI components for me, like navbar, buttons, listview, panels, but all management of pages in DOM I want to do on my own.I already have a cache of past pages, but I do not want JQM for example to set display:none on my previous paged. I will instead use LinkedIn's techniques. I want to use also the real time management techniques developed by Sencha for their FastBook.jQuery Mobile isn't a "page transition plugin". It's a UI framework
