Images disappear after ajax history "Back" button.

I've created a home page and a few ajax accessible sub pages. Contact and Albums are the only ones that matter right now.
Contact uses "Pop" transition, while Albums uses "Slide".
The images on the footer bar disappear after you slide into, then back out of the Albums page.
They do not disappear when you hit "Contact" and that page pops in, and pops out once you press Back.
Why are they disappearing!? They're there until the Slide animation is completed, and then they disappear!
I'm using a table to make the 4 clickable areas, and those <td>s still remain linked to the other sub pages... just sans-image.
