Is it possible to implement Ajax Load into a website just place the code into it without setup new parent child page as a new website?

Many tutorials and demos i saw. but when view source code, it seems that to make the ajax load must create it's own code in the website itself, not just insert the code into existing web hosting. Because it should create parent and child file. See the tutorial at http://josephbeeson.com/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=2&cntnt01returnid=17. So it imposible to easily insert the ajax load code into custom code area in an existing website which has internal page editor like http://www.heypy.com/page/page/new . Please prove that i'm wrong and show other demos if i was wrong. Thanks.
