I would not worry much about CSS validation, as it is a constantly changing beastie. All implementations ignore attributes like zoom and opacity if they don't understand them

Okay, those were the bulk of the "errors"; so if a validator is the boy that cried wolf, it eventually gets ignored. is there a validator that only catches serious errors, I wonder (the same for HTML5 validation)?
