Cool, I appreciate you taking the time to check.
True, it's the yellow links I'm having trouble scrolling through in Chrome. I just expected I'd be able to click-scroll-down-release, click-scroll-down-release with my mouse -- like I've been able to on other pages with iScroll -- although these pages had a lot of empty space that I could initiate my gestures on, as opposed to this side panel where all the space is made up of links. I expected that iScroll would differentiate between click-scroll-down-release and quick,
targeted clicks, kinda like how jQuery hoverIntent knows when a user
intends to hover something.
The attempted "fix" in the fiddle is from
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15248970/iframe-prevents-iscroll-scrolling-on-mobile-safari, which makes click-scroll-down-release, click-scroll-down-release with my mouse work when initiating the gesture on top of say YouTube embeds. I just assumed I had to apply something similar for links.
So all in all I guess my problem was just an imaginary one? On mobile, scrolling through those yellow links works just fine?
> What is it you are trying to accomplish in the first place? It's not at all clear.
Just the cleanest, most user-friendly mobile side panel possible. If you have any design, usability, optimization tips or whatever, please do share.
Have a good one.
