Issue with usings two scripts on the same page
in
Using jQuery
•
Hi,
jQuery is completely new to me, but I want to use these two scripst on the same site: I got the camera script to work just fine
http://www.pixedelic.com/plugins/camera/,
but as soon as I add the lightbox script
http://leandrovieira.com/projects/jquery/lightbox/
they're both not working anymore.
I've figured out that the problem seems to the jquery source files. The camera script uses: jquery.min.js, but for the lightbox I need jquery.js and as soon as I add that nothing's working anymore.
Can anyone help me getting both scripts to work?
Thanks a lot
Nicole

One jQuery for all plugins is the norm. Lightbox is pretty old, so I would use the one that you got with camera.
Or use jQuery.min.js from
http://jquery.com
(the latest)

Hi Jake,
thanks for the quick reply. What do you mean with using th one I got with camera?
I've already tried to leave out the jquery.js (as I already had jQuery.min.js in it), but then the lightbox doesn't work.
Thanks,
Nicole

One jQuery before all other scripts. Like I said, that’s the norm.
I don’t know which versions you have, as the names were changed to not include versions.
For development you should use current 1.8.3 without min, for production, 1.8.3 with min.
