JQuery animation not working in IE - but only on one server?

I have a JQuery animation on our new home page. This animation works without fail in Firefox and Opera. However, in Internet Explorer it works on some computers and not others. It will work for awhile on all systems, then stop functioning for some computers. It has worked, not worked, worked, and now not worked on my computer – even though the associated files have been unchanged. This occurs in different versions of IE. My IE is v9, but some computers with IE8 have the problem - but then other computers with IE8 or IE9 have no problem at all.
But here is where it gets really weird.
The problem occurs only when the files are hosted on our website host's server. I took the animation files, unedited and straight from the contractor who created them, and uploaded them to our webspace – and the problem persists. But I took those exact same files and uploaded them to a different company's server, and they worked just fine in my browser. Further, the exact same files are located on the developer’s server and they work perfectly there as well.
Last week the animation started working again. The hosting company's tech support insisted that the problem was fixed. We rolled out our website and today it has stopped working again.
I don't get an error message - it just fails to load fully. Here is a screen capture showing the animation failing twice on one server but working fine on another: http://www.hulcher.com/working/screencapture.jpg
Here is where the animation is supposed to be – not working for me right now:

Here the animation works just fine in the same browser where it fails above:
