jQuery Blog RSS feed

Hi,
I don't have a problem about the forum, but about the jquery.com website itself. However, I don't know where to report this so I thought let's just report it here.
In the blog page (http://blog.jquery.com), the source code reports an RSS feed can be used (http://blog.jquery.com/feed/). I use this feed in my RSS reader to keep me informed about updates etc.
However, since a while this feed doesn't work anymore. It now displays the blog itself, so my RSS reader doesn't understand it, and I can't see the updates in my RSS reader.
Is this a known problem, and is it possible to fix this?
Thanks,
vosManz

Not a single reply in 2 weeks?
Is there any other way I can contact the site developers?

This is the right place to report it.
I'm not having any issues reading the rss feed using the google reader.

Thanks for your comment.
I'm not sure how Google Reader works, but IE9, Firefox 15 and Outlook 2010 can't handle 'http://blog.jquery.com/feed/' ( or http://feeds.feedburner.com/jquery/ ) as a valid RSS feed. Instead, the regular blog web-page is displayed.
That is not a problem for a browser like IE or Firefox. But for a rss/news-reader like in Outlook 2010 this gives an error on parsing the document. Outlook 2010 says it is not a valid RSS source.
I used to get jQuery Blog items in Outlook 2010 in the past, using the same URL. So I assume it used to work in the past.

I have the same problem with Liferea 1.6.4.
It would be really cool if the format at http://feeds.feedburner.com/jquery/ is a standard feed format.
Best regards

Still no reply from jQuery?
Is there any other way I can contact the jQuery site administrator?

Hey guys,
The infrastructure team is aware of the problem with feedburner. We are having problems dealing with them. They are looking at alternatives and potentially a new RSS feed.
I'll keep you updated as I find out more.
Thanks,
Ralph

Just a heads up, 4 months later and the RSS feed for the blog is still not working properly.
However for the jQuery forums(this) it's working without issues.

It has now been 6 months, and the feed is still broken. Can this please be fixed?
I use Google Reader to keep up-to-date with just about everything, so I miss any jQuery updates. Note that there are 11,184 subscribers to the jQuery feed in Google Reader ...

and yet, my google reader feed for the jQuery blog works. hmmm......
Try using this url: http://feeds.feedburner.com/jquery/ though it actually points back to http://blog.jquery.com/feed/ when requesting it as a feed.

@Michael, I agree. RSS is not that complex, I would think it shouldn't take 6 months to fix.. But of course I don't know what the jQuery team is working on and how their systems work..
@Kevin. Great that it works for you or for Google Reader, but that doesn't mean the problem is fixed. I don't know what Google Reader does (maybe it just understands the HTML code and converts it to articles), but in other RSS applications it still doesn't work. The URL does not produce any valid RSS code.
Strange thing is that the jQuery UI Blog RSS works without any problems.. Maybe ask the UI team how they made the feed?
Is there maybe any update from the jQuery team about this issue?

It really speaks for the infrastructure team that they could not fix nor even comment on the issue in about 9 month. Is there even such a thing as the "infrastructure team" or are they just the bucket that holds all the "we don't really care" items?

Just realized that Thunderbird 17 wasn't dealing with the blog's RSS feed either... Trying to Validate both URLs mentioned above returns the same message : "It looks like this is a web page, not a feed."

Just another person throwing their support behind this.
With google reader shutting down, commafeed can't interpret the blog, and I'm going to miss out on updates.

And another person!
Yet again another version (well, actually 2) of jQuery has been released and I've not other method of discovering that unless I take time out to visit the site. I want to subscribe to a feed or email list that lets me know when a release happens. Not that big a request is it?

Feedly also pukes on the main jQuery blog feed. I had no idea there was jQuery 1.10/2.0. I know what I'm doing tonight.

Until this gets fixed, you should be able to use this feedburner URL:
