jquery colorbox set in iframe

Hello,

I have a jquery colorbox set up and working. However, I am wanting to place the page containing the colorbox within an iframe to sit in my site. This means that when the colorbox opens it only greys out the page within the iframe and not the parent page. Is it possible to grey out the parent page too?
