I have a new project where I have a multi-page site. I'm trying to go from page 1 to page 2 and calling javascript to access a php page so I can print data from mysql. It's working well ONLY AFTER A MANUAL REFRESH. The data will show up for a split second, then disappear. I've put the javascript function call in the body of my 2nd page.

I've tried pagebeforeshow and other events, but it's still the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

It could be 17 million different problems. Can you share a link to your page?

1. Click on "Pick a School"

- After a refresh, it will populate with 2 schools, but it won't automatically.

- I can't use rel="external" because then my mobile app won't run properly. It helped in my browser.

2. If that doesn't create the error, then click "Nodaway-South Holt"

3. Rosters/Bio

4. You should see "Football" in the drop down list, but it won't populate without a refresh either.

$.mobile.ajaxEnabled = false;

Throws away most of the goodness that is in JQM. Don’t do that. If you aren’t using JQM’s Ajax, there is little point to jumping through the hoops to make a JQM site.

One rule about jQM is that ALL pages must have the identical <head>, except for the <title>.

All scripts should be in the <head> except when the code only effects that page.

Another thing about JQM is that it does all the AJAX for you. You should let it.

I appreciate the quick reply. I've been working on this problem for a few days and have tried a million things. I thought I had

$.mobile.ajaxEnabled = false;

removed, but it is gone now.

All pages have the same <head> now. The only scripts that are in the body are the ones that effect that individual page.

More help is appreciated.
