jQuery Mobile is no longer working on desktop browsers?

I developed several jQuery Mobile sites and when I did this I was able to view them on normal browsers (desktop) such as Firefox and Chrome and it would like exactly like it did on the phone, only larger.

Now it seems jQuery mobile doesn't do this.

Does anyone know why?

What makes you think that?

Did you try the demos?

exactly like it did on the phone, only larger.

Well, exactly how it looks is a function of your design. <meta viewport> etc.

I saw that the demos worked... but for whatever reason my sites do not..

What do you think is "wrong" with this?

Looks perfectly normal to me.

But I don't know what you expect it to look like.

On my FireFox, on Windows 7 it looks like the picture with blue background and the text scrolls down a ways... It looks like the CSS or jQuery isn't working properly.

And then on the phone it looks the way it's supposed to with the listview buttons and nice style.

Sounds like you have an issue with your Firefox. Is scripting disabled? Nothing is wrong on my end.

Ok, looks like it's just a local browser problem. Had other friends look at it as well.. and it seems to be fine for them... So it's just my browser. Thanks.
