Probably a false alarm.
But as jQuery Mobile is pretty much a completed(dead) project, and will probably never be enhanced. Feel free to use it as-is or not.

If what is left of the development team doesn’t have an answer for you, you won’t get one here from some of the people who have used JQM.

In case others are interested, we are assuming that the javascript/browser cannot be trusted and adding more checking on the servers, which we probably should have done before anyway :)

But you need to "server validate" any and all data that comes from a browser.
It has nothing to do with jQuery or jQuery Mobile.
