This is what I don't like about Dreamweaver. It holds out the promise of not having to learn what is going on under the hood. Just use this wizard - it's magic! It's an empty promise.

Your phone features have nothing to do with it. The code Dreamweaver wrote for you (and that you apparently didn't look at) is just making Ajax calls to an HTTP server with PHP installed.

Without knowing any details of your backend setup and without having any code, it's hard to guess what might be wrong.

I would first check to make sure you can access your server from the mobile device. Just try to display some page on the device's browser. (Since you haven't said anything about your configuration, I don't know if you have a separate server for your pages and the database backend.) If you have separate servers, then you probably have  a cross-domain scripting issue.

Further questions would probably be better directed to some Dreamweaver support forum. That, or at least post the (probably voluminous) code generated by the wizard.
