There won't be any conflicts with user defined styles as $ isn't
allowed in class names:
i.e. given the following HTML:
<input name="test" class="f$o" />
And CSS:
.f$o{font-weight: bold}
The text would not be bold when you typed in the box.

I also go for valid class names, I'm sorry. But it should be ok to use a
certian prefix. At least some responsibility has to be put on the
developer using the plugin...
As long as this it is documented!

I like the idea of having only one function to throw all the stuff at
and its doing things automagically...
